With an aerodynamic 45mm deep profile, the C45 is our jack-of-all-trades wheel set. Whether you are chasing KOMs on the mountain or racing your buddies to the next checkpoint, this wheel set is for you.
This wheel set offers all the aerodynamic benefits of a much deeper profile in a lighter package that’s easier to control in crosswinds. If there’s climbing to do, these could be your best choice. We have designed the rim to work with both new road bikes or as a fantastic choice to upgrade your older road bike with limited clearance.
FEATURES
NEW GROOVED GRAPHENE BRAKING SURFACE
We are extremely pleased and excited to feature our new Grooved Graphene Braking Surface. Our new resin system and construction method, combined with the 3k rim track, withstands over 280°C, dissipates heat, and lowers rim temperatures faster in between braking efforts. Gain confidence-inspiring brake performance on the steepest descents and wettest conditions with our matching brake pads. Also, graphene added to the rim brake track allows for greater resistance to overheating with improved heat dissipation and reduced temperature accumulation during heavy braking. The grooved track helps evacuate trapped moisture between pad and rim in wet conditions, and brings more resistance and force at the lever when conditions are dry.
WHITE INDUSTRIES T-11 HUBS
The T11 is White Industries rim brake (non-disc) road hub and is the perfect choice for road and cross builds. Made in White Industries shop from U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aluminum. The White Industries hub sets support new and old drive trains and feature titanium freehubs. They are compatible with Shimano HG and SRAM PG Cassettes (Shimano HG freehub); SRAM XGR Cassettes (SRAM XDR freehub) and Campagnolo cassettes. .
We use premium J-Bend Stainless Spokes and Brass Nipples for durability.
HEAVY RIDER OPTION
Our 20/24 spoke model is perfect for riders up to approximately 220 lbs. For riders that want a more robust wheel, or weigh more than 220 lbs, select our 28/28 spoke model. It can support riders to 300 lbs.
