OVERVIEW

The C35AR is a lightweight, fast and comfortable precision tool for the serious adventurer.  It is our Adventure Road model, and is comfortable on any road, paved or gravel.

The shallower 35mm rim profile handles confidently in cross-winds, while their momentum carries speed well.  The greatest single contributor to the design of our new rim profiles is the blunt, "bullnose" shape of its "spoke face".  Designed using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), we labored to create a profile that would slice through the air at any yaw angle while increasing crosswind stability.  Our 21mm internal width of the rim provides a better fit for higher volume tires that increase grip, lower rolling resistance and provide greater comfort.

Premium bladed SAPIM spokes and locking nipples yield a durable and reliable wheel set for years to come.  We lace them to our very own ROL CLD Hubs featuring the highest-rated ABEC-5 stainless steel bearings. We can accommodate most freehub combinations (email us if you need something not listed).

OVERVIEW

This is a great all-around wheel for all types of riding. The C45's have been popular for road riding and racing, time trials and triathlons, gravel and cyclocross. This carbon wheelset is fast, strong and comfortable. The C45 uses a mid-depth rim: it's light enough to accelerate and climb and a joy in cross winds, while its aerodynamics make you feel like you have an added gear at race speeds.

The C45 measures 28mm at its widest point - a bit wider than most to improve the tire's aerodynamics and widen its contact patch for better handling. You'll get more out of your chosen tires with a wider rim.

Premium Sapim Race Spokes are double butted and provide a combination of lighweight and strength.  The brass Sapim Secure Lock nipples work great for strength and hold up better to corrosion than standard alloy nipples.

The C45 can be built with a number of different axle combinations. If you don't see it, let us know and we will get you taken care of. Disc brake axle types are as follows:

This fantastic new gravel wheel is build with a combination of Toray T700 & T800 Premium Carbon Fiber. Its shape, using the ROL-Flow profile provides a great shape that is aero and responsive. Our ROL CLD hubs are lightweight, and roll fast with sealed bearings. They provide a quick and solid engagement. We use bladed spokes that are light and strong with each build. . 

We provide the ability to upgrade to American Made hubs made by White Industries, Onyx and Chris King. If you want a specific color or axle configuration, please send us a message, in most cases we can do it.
