OVERVIEW

For criteriums, triathlons, flat-to-rolling road races and even cyclocross, our all-carbon clincher wheelset is fast, light and comfortable. The C45 uses a mid-depth rim: it's light enough to accelerate and climb and a joy in cross winds, while its aerodynamics make you feel like you have an added gear at race speeds.

The C45 measures 30mm at its widest point - a bit wider than most to improve the tire's aerodynamics and widen its contact patch for better handling. You'll get more out of your chosen tires with a wider rim. Our rims are made with the highest quality, highest temperature unidirectional carbon pre-preg available to the civilian market delivering consistent, worry-free braking performance.

WHITE INDUSTRIES T-11 HUB

For a limited time, we are offering a special price on pre-ordering the C45 with a White Industries T-11 hubs. The T11 Is White Industries non-disc light weight road hub set. These hubs have been designed to be durable and easy to service. The freehub body is made out of titanium to give you a light weight freehub that is extremely reliable. It is also versatile, you can change drive trains from Shimano Hyper Glide, SRAM XDR, or Campy without re-dishing the wheel. The axle materials have been built with purpose, a lightweight aluminum front axle and the T11’s steel rear axle brings the perfect balance of weight and stiffness. Finally, the high low flange, this feature allows you to build with more even spoke tension allowing your wheel to be stronger. All of these characteristics are what makes the T11 an ideal choice for any non-disc road bike.

OVERVIEW

The C35 is a lightweight, fast and comfortable precision tool for the serious adventurer.  The shallower 35mm rim profile handles confidently in cross-winds, while their momentum carries speed well.  The greatest single contributor to the design of our new rim profiles is the blunt, "bullnose" shape of its "spoke face".  Designed using CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics), we labored to create a profile that would slice through the air at any yaw angle while increasing crosswind stability.  Here are some features of our new design:

High TG Rim Brake Track

Our resin system and construction method, combined with the 3k rim track, withstands over 280°C, dissipates heat, and lowers rim temperatures faster between braking efforts. Gain confidence inspiring brake performance on the steepest descents and wet conditions with our matching brake pads.

Grooved Graphene Brake Track - Option Add $120 per wheelset

As an upgrade option, we have the Grooved Graphene Brake Track, Our graphene version of the High TG brake track has even greater resistance to overheating with improved heat dissipation and reduced temperature accumulation during heavy braking. The grooved track helps evacuate trapped moisture between pad and rim in the wet and brings more resistance when conditions are dry, so less force at the lever is required.

Tubeless Compatible Technology

All of our rims are tubeless compatible with bead seat retention. In most cases a floor pump is needed to seal our rims. The bead shape, bead seat and outer diameter is tailored according to each rim width in order to achieve the best fit. Tubeless (no tube) systems are designed to run at lower pressures than tube systems without any negative effects. Lower rolling resistance, decreased rotational weight and flat resistance are all significant improvements.

Our wheelsets are standard with black hubs. If you would like to order hubs with a specific color, please contact tom@rolwheels.com. We will offer specials on color hubs at certain times through the season. There are chances that colored hubs will have longer lead times.
