OVERVIEW

The D'Huez is a result of our best thinking: at the wheel-building bench, the computer design screen and on long late winter rides. From the ROL hub out to the rim's farthest point, we put everything we had into this wheel, among our most popular designs.

The D'Huez is named for the legendary Alpine climb that's featured in so many Tour de France battles. Our lively 1,430 gram wheelset lives up to the history and will climb alongside wheels at twice the price.

The D'Huez feature our proprietary new rims. Our wheel builders connect these innovative parts with nothing less than industry leading bladed spokes. We have done our research to bring you the lightest, most aerodynamic spokes in cycling.

The wider rim improves tire performance by reducing sidewall flex and widening the contact patch. On these road bike wheels, you'll be more secure in the turns, no matter the speed or the road surface. And if you opt for tubeless tires, with our recommended rim strip and valve, you'll enjoy even more comfort and traction with lower tire pressures, while virtually eliminating flats.

The T11 Is White Industries non-disc light weight road hub set. These hub have been designed to be durable and easy to service. The freehub body is made out of titanium to give you a light weight freehub that is extremely reliable. It is also versatile, you can change drive trains from Shimano Hyper Glide, SRAM XDR, or Campy without re-dishing the wheel. The axles materials have been built with purpose, a lightweight aluminum front axle and the T11’s steel rear axle brings the perfect balance of weight and stiffness. Finally, the high low flange, this feature allows you to build with more even spoke tension allowing your wheel to be stronger. All of these characteristics are what makes the T11 an ideal choice for any non-disc road bike.

Our best-selling alloy clincher wheelset is the Race SL and a favorite with racers and enthusiasts looking for a wheelset with precise handling, ride quality and speed. It's the perfect wheelset for road racing, criteriums and triathlon. It's already one of the best-reviewed bike wheels on the market and for 2014 we made it even better.

We've improved the Race SL wheelset with a new rim profile that is wider and stiffer. At 23mm wide, our new rim design improves tire performance by shortening the tire's sidewalls and producing a wider contact patch.  The 30mm rim profile provides confidence-inspiring turning as well as the stiffness and aerodynamics that seasoned riders demand. 

We lace our innovative rim to our own ROL hubs, designed with years of wheel building experience. The hubs minimize the spoke tension differential on the rear wheel, producing a more evenly tensioned wheel for maximum durability. OVERVIEW

The D'HUEZ and VOLANTS big brother, the DERONDE 32 is for aggressive riders and those who prefer a stiff yet compliant ride from their wheels. The DERONDE is a performance wheel for pounding out training miles, slamming industrial park criterium corners or finessing bumpy cyclocross courses. This is also an idea wheel for heavier road bike riders and for touring.

Even though we have bumped up the spoke count to 32 spokes per wheel, which provides increased stiffness and durability, the wheels are light and responsive.

The DERONDE 32 wheelset shares its sibling's wide rim, improving tire performance for secure handling and all-day comfort. We hand-build the R/T in the U.S.  and are currently using Shimano R7000 hubs (Shimano HG Freehub)  and double-butted stainless steel spokes, an industry standard for lightweight spokes for decades. These wheels will be laced 3 cross both front and rear for extra strength.
