ROL Limited Warranty

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, we offer a ‘no questions asked’ 30-day money back guarantee. All ROL wheelsets are covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturers’ defects. This ROL warranty only applies to the original owner and is not transferable.

 

ROL offers an additional Lifetime Warranty against manufacturers’ defects for all wheelsets to the original owner.

  • $200 Lifetime Warranty for Alloy Wheelsets
  • $300 Lifetime Warranty for Carbon Wheelsets

Lifetime Warranties must be purchased when the wheelset is purchased from ROL. In the unfortunate event of a crash or accident that renders your ROL Wheels unsafe to ride, we are happy to help replace that product at crash replacement pricing. The availability of crash replacement parts varies.

ROL Warranty Limitations

This ROL Warranty covers the manufacturing defects of its products and does NOT include any damage resulting from a crash, misuse, component compatibility or parts that are subject to normal wear and tear.

 

ROL Wheels reserves the right to determine if damage to a wheel was caused by ‘normal use’ or manufacturers’ defects, and ROL Wheels reserves the right to determine if a wheel will be repaired or replaced due to manufacturers’ defects.

  • Examples of damage that are not covered by the ROL Warranty include: 
  • The brake surface of rim-brake rims
  • Disc brake mounting hardware or overtightening
  • Damage to freehub bodies due to normal use or overtightening
  • Damage to rims from hitting objects
  • Ball bearing wear
  • Rim tape wear
  • Poor installation of valves
  • Other forms of wear and misuse

NOTE: Always use carbon-specific brake pads when using full carbon rim-brake wheels. Damage to carbon rims from debris stuck in the carbon brake pads is not covered by the ROL warranty.

 

Please note that ROL customers will be responsible for returning wheels to ROL for repair or replacement.
