The D'Huez is named for the legendary Alpine climb that's featured in so many Tour de France battles. Our lively 1,475 gram wheelset lives up to the history and will climb alongside wheels at twice the price.

The big brother to the Disc D'Huez 24, we added four more spokes, front and rear, for increased durability and stiffness.

The added strength and durability of the Disc D’Huez 28 wheelset make it a natural choice for those who demand the lightweight and wide footprint created by the Disc D’Huez’s wider, race proven rim.

OVERVIEW

Our ROL rear disc road hub combines lightweight, durability, and value that you will find in no other hub on the market. The ROL hub is a center lock design. Our hubs are available in both thru-axle and quick release combinations. Whatever you prefer to ride, we have you covered with Shimano HG, Sram XDR and Campagnolo free hubs. And check out the selection of colors we have as well!

The wider rim improves tire performance by reducing sidewall flex and widening the contact patch. On these road bike wheels, you'll be more secure in the turns, no matter the speed or the road surface. And if you opt for tubeless tires, with our recommended rim strip and valve, you'll enjoy even more comfort and traction with lower tire pressures, while virtually eliminating flats.

For more aggressive or heavier bike riders and unforgiving roads, the Disc D'Huez 28 is a lightweight wheel with all the advantages of our groundbreaking D'Huez rim: wider for improved tire performance and aerodynamics and tubeless-tire compatibility.

Like its sibling, the Disc D'Huez 28 features industry standard lightweight bladed spokes for thousands of trouble-free miles.

Recommended rider weight limit is 100kg/230lbs.

Best Upgrade I Could Have Made

I was looking to upgrade my stock wheels which were a bit heavy and came across ROL wheels. My criteria was to find lighter, reliable, durable, affordable alloy disc wheels, but as a heavier rider at 200 lbs choices are more limited. I'm very happy to have found the ROL D'HUEZ 28 as these met all of my search criteria and as a big bonus handbuilt here in the USA. The D'HUEZ 28 wheelset is light and very responsive, and they provide a great ride with tubeless tires.
