The DERONDE wheel can be used in all conditions, such as rough roads, loaded touring and cyclocross. The tubeless compliant wheels can support a wide range of tires, from 23mm road tires to 45mm gravel tires..

OVERVIEW

The DERONDE is for aggressive riders and those who prefer a stiff yet compliant ride from their wheels. The DERONDE is a performance wheel for pounding out training miles, slamming industrial park criterium corners or finessing bumpy cyclocross courses. This is also an ideal wheel for heavier road bike riders and for touring.

We have bumped up the spoke count to 32 spokes per wheel, which provides increased stiffness and durability, yet the wheels are light and responsive.

We hand-build the DERONDE in the U.S. with ROL hubs and lightweight, strong, stainless steel spokes. These wheels will be laced 3 cross both front and rear for extra strength and stiffness.

2nd Set

Yes, this is my second set of Deronde 32 spoke wheels. I am notorious for being tough on wheels. Set #1 is still going strong after three years and about 15,000 miles. The rim brake surface is showing wear so I bought a 2nd set. Maybe did a little true on the rear wheel once, that's it. Great wheels.

Still winter here in northern Alberta but the wheels look amazing, am mounting them this week and will test them real soon, looking forward to it.

Awesome with tubeless and great service after a crash

The wheels with the White Industry hubs are smooth and pretty much flawless set up with tubeless. I did not have a flat all last season. Using them on a custom frame from Saffron Frameworks in London.

I did go head on into a branch that had fallen across a paved trail that was hidden by leaves last October. Front rim bent (tire still not flat!- carbon fork not bent or cracked) and I went over the front of the bike. I was lucky and just had some scrapes and bruises. ROL stood behind their crash warranty and rebuilt a new wheel on my hub for the crash processing fee of 100 USD.
I love these wheels and the service I got from ROL.

Good Wheels for a Clydesdale

I need bombproof wheels to handle New England roads and my 210+ lbs. And these wheels are doing the job, nothing fancy but solid. I was a little surprised that the front wheel was out of true when it arrived but easily fixed. Excellent value.

Great wheels for a heavy rider

Got these wheels, installed them and did a 50 mile ride the next day. Great wheels! They were perfectly true, and seemed to get up to speed with little effort! Looking to put plenty of miles on them! Thanks again!
