THE C45AR HAS BEEN A STAPLE IN OUR LINE UP FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS, WE HAVE SLIGHTLY RE-DESIGNED THE WHEEL TO PROVIDE MORE AERODYNAMICS AND ROLL SMOOTHER. IT IS LIGHTER AND FASTER.

OVERVIEW

The latest advancement of our popular C45AR - All Road Series, our new ROL-Flow profile offers significant performance benefits.

The design reduces aero drag, is more laterally stiff, and has 30% greater impact resistance.

The C45 AR disc’s are a great choice if you want a fast mid-depth rim that will give you an edge over the competition. It is our Adventure Road model, and is comfortable on any road, paved or gravel. The wheel is at home with Century Road Rides, Road Races, Triathalons and even Gravel  Rides. The wheels will fit tires from 25mm to 45mm. 

The rims are made with a lend of Toray T700 & T800 Premium Carbon Fiber, They have an internal width: 21mm from bead to bead to allow for great control. The external widths is a maximum of 28mm makes the wheel cut through the wind and provide a nice aerodynamic flow.

Our standard set runs with a 24 spoke count for both front and rear. They are laced 2 cross.

Our C45AR Carbon Disc Wheels come standard with ROL CLD (Center Lock Design) hubs. They are sealed bearing hubs with a 6-pawl mechanism. They are laced to our rims with lightweight stainless steel J-Bend Spokes with Brass nipples. We prefer to build the wheels with durability than save a few ounces on alloy nipples.  

They wheels are available with Shimano HG, SRAM XDR or Campagnolo freehubs. The standard axle option is 12x100/12x142 axles. If you need a different axle combination, select Other and we will respond to you via email to make sure we have the right axle combination.

If you’re looking for a premium all-rounder that is easy to handle, and offers a lightweight feel with sharp handling, look no further than the C35AR disc. It is our Adventure Road model, and is comfortable on any road, paved or gravel.

The C35AR is made from Toray T700 & T800 Premium Carbon Fiber. It has an internal width of 21mm and an external width of 30mm which allows a wide profile for a road tire to optimize traction for cornering and allow for a nice aero profile to cut the wind. The depth of the rim is 37.5mm. The C35AR is built for tires 25-52 mm wide. 

The C35AR is a 24 spoke count wheel for both front and rear. They are laced to ROL CLD hubs using light weight stainless steel J-bend spokes and brass nipples. 

The ROL CLD hubs are sealed bearings with a 6-pawl mechanism. They ROL smooth and quiet. They are available with Shimano, SRAM or Campagnolo freehubs.

The wheels are available in a standard 12x100/12x142 axle, however other configurations are available. Just select other and we will email you for details.

OVERVIEW

This is a great all-around wheel for all types of riding. The C45's have been popular for road riding and racing, time trials and triathlons, gravel and cyclocross. This carbon wheelset is fast, strong and comfortable. The C45 uses a mid-depth rim: it's light enough to accelerate and climb and a joy in cross winds, while its aerodynamics make you feel like you have an added gear at race speeds.

The C45 measures 28mm at its widest point - a bit wider than most to improve the tire's aerodynamics and widen its contact patch for better handling. You'll get more out of your chosen tires with a wider rim.

Premium Sapim Race Spokes are double butted and provide a combination of lighweight and strength.  The brass Sapim Secure Lock nipples work great for strength and hold up better to corrosion than standard alloy nipples.

The C45 can be built with a number of different axle combinations. If you don't see it, let us know and we will get you taken care of. Disc brake axle types are as follows:

The DERONDE is named for a legendary European race that's features some very rugged roads.  

This is the big brother to the Disc DHUEZ 28 spoke wheel, by adding 4 more double butted spokes as well as using a 3 cross lacing pattern. It is also a slightly wider rim profile, with a 21mm internal hook bead.

The added strength and durability of the DERONDE 32 make it a natural choice for those who demand the lightweight wheel, that is strong enough to stand up to heavier riders. The wide footprint will accommodate tires from 25mm wide to 45mm wide.

OVERVIEW

Our new Range Alloy Disc Tubeless Clincher is one of the lightest, stiffest and well-handling alloy disc clinchers on the market today. Our ROL hubs laced to our new World Class tubeless alloy rim with either lightweight stainless J-Bend spokes make this the best performing gravel wheel available. The rims are available in a 28 spoke MODEL and 32 spoke model for heavier riders and rugged terrain. The 32 Spoke Model is great for loaded touring and bike packing.

Recommended rider weight limit is 220 lbs for the 28 spoke model. These wheels are laces 2 cross. 

For riders above 220 pounds, or loaded touring bikes wanting an even stronger wheel, select the 32 hole hub combination. These wheels will be laced 3 cross for extra strength.

The Range Alloy 32 Disc Tubeless Clincher is one of the strongest, stiffest and well-handling alloy disc clinchers on the market today. Using our ROL hubs, or upgrading to the American Made White Industries CLD hubset, SAPIM Race spokes, Black Brass SAPIM Secure Lock Hex nipples and ROL Range tubeless alloy rim, the Range Alloy is an uncompromising combination of some of the world's best components. 

Our ROL hubs contain high quality cartridge bearings, are super light weight, and have 3.3 degrees of engagement. They are incredible high performing for the value. 

White Industries hubs are American made. For color requests, please send us a message or place it in the notes section of the order. Otherwise we will assume you want black. Every wheelset is hand built to perfection in Colorado. This gravel wheelset comes in any axle configuration.

Recommended rider weight limit is 135kg/280lbs

This wheelset is for riders above 200 pounds, or loaded touring bikes wanting an even stronger wheel, select the 32 hole hub combination. These wheels will be laced 3 cross with Sapim Race spokes for extra strength.
