THESE SPECIAL BUILD RANGE WHEEL SETS COME IN 2 VERSIONS - OUR STANDARD 28 SPOKE MODEL AND THE GRANDE 32 SPOKE MODEL FOR THOSE ROUGH ON THE WHEELS AND HEAVIER RIDERS.
The hub for the Special Build is a Shimano RS-470 with 12x100mm / 12x142mm axles. They have a Shimano HG 11 Speed Hyper Glide (or HG) freehub. The Special only comes in the hub combo - if you need something different, please see the Range Alloy Clincher page.

OVERVIEW
Our new Range Alloy Disc Tubeless Clincher is one of the lightest, stiffest and well-handling alloy disc clinchers on the market today.
Recommended rider weight limit is 110kg/230lbs for the 28 hole models. The 28 hole models are laced 2 cross with double butted spokes.
For riders above 230 pounds, or loaded touring bikes wanting an even stronger wheel, select the 32 hole hub combination. These wheels will be laced 3 cross with double butted spokes for extra strength.
